Simple Scripts for Prospecting

These are proven simple scripts that work regardless of your experience level. Practice them by reading them out loud to your friend, your spouse, or to yourself in the mirror. Always have a smile on your face when you are speaking with your prospect on the phone; they will sense your warmth and friendliness through the phone. See Masterful Script Tips

 

Remember to stay on point with the intention of the script, but to add your personality along the way. And don't get stuck making a presentation or answering a lot of questions ... that's the job of your upline helper.

Growing your business is a numbers game so you want to get as many NO’s as fast as you can. The faster you get a bunch of NO’S, the faster you will get to a bunch of YES’s; this will result in your business growing faster. The speed with which you and your teammates accomplish these tasks creates geometric growth of your business.

 

To do this we are going to use only 2 approaches: (1) for The Business Opportunity, and (2) for The Travel Membership Opportunity. But don’t ever forget that ‘9 OUT OF 10 JOIN’ a company because they want to make ‘MORE MONEY’ and ‘IMPROVE THEIR LIFESTYLE’ so these should be your focus. If the prospect shows no interest in making more money but is interested in improving their lifestyle, this can then lead you to talk about the benefits of our Travel Membership.

 

Business Opportunity Voicemail Message Script (speak slowly and clearly!)

 

First name, this is ______________ calling from City & State and I’m sorry I missed you. I called to introduce you to our business opportunity that is shattering our member’s highest earnings records from their previous home-based businesses. I’ll send you a 4 minute video that provides a brief overview of our business and shows you how you can earn $30,000 in your first 4 months or less. After watching my video, you will know for sure if you are interested and want more details. I’ll be sending the video from my smartphone app to the number I left this message on. If this is not your cell phone you will not be able to receive the video, so please give me a call so I can send you the video to your email address. First name, thank you for taking the time to view my video and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Hope you have a tremendous day. Again, my name is __________, and my number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

 

Business Opportunity Script (Live Call)

 

First name, my name is,                         , and I’m in City/State. How is your day going so far? (pause for a second...listen and respond appropriately to personalize the conversation). First name, I called to introduce you to our business opportunity that is shattering our member’s highest earnings records from their previous home-based businesses that they were in before. I’ll send you a 4 minute video that provides a brief overview of our business and shows you how easily you can earn $30,000 in your first 4 months or less by using our exclusive tools. After watching my video, I’m pretty sure that you will know if you are interested or not. If you are, we can discuss what additional details you need to make a decision. First name, is it okay with you if I send you the video? (Then shut up and wait for their answer. It will be YES, MAYBE, they have a QUESTION, or NO.)

 

YES Send them the Surge365 Comp Plan video from your Smartphone App

Then say: First name, I’ll send it to you right away from our Smartphone App. The video is less than 4 minutes long but very informative, so I’ll call you back in 12 minutes.  Is this your cell phone that I called? Great, the video will be there in a few seconds, and I’ll get back to you in around 12 minutes to see what your thoughts are.

 

You can also send it to their email address if they don’t have a Smartphone or prefer to view the video on their PC.

 

MAYBE If you sense hesitancy

Say: First name, my video is less than 4 minutes long, and it will show you how, by using our unique business tools, you can get paid over $30,000 in your first 4 months or less. How about I go ahead and send you the video so you can decide for yourself if our opportunity might be right for you. Is that ok with you?

Wait for answer, then:

If they say Yes, you say: Is this your cell phone that I called? Great, the video will be there in a few seconds, and I’ll get back to you in around 12 minutes to see what your thoughts are.

If they have a question, go to QUESTION
If they say No, go to NO

 

QUESTION Usually their question is “what is it”?

Say: First name, our company is a once or twice in a life legacy company. We offer an exclusive Top Tier wholesale Travel and Lifestyle Benefits Membership that is helping thousands of families save money on their travel and more. In fact, our members have already saved $3 Million in less than three months. I’m sure that you can put aside 4 minutes of your time to see if this just might be the company and opportunity you have needed to improve your lifestyle. Is it ok with you if I go ahead and send you the video so you can decide for yourself if this might be right for you?

Wait for answer, then:

If they say Yes, you say: Is this your cell phone that I called? Great, the video will be there in a few seconds, and I’ll get back to you in around 12 minutes to see what your thoughts are.

If you sense hesitancy, go to MAYBE

If they say No, go to NO

 

NO If they say no, it’s usually because they are already committed to a business opportunity, or they are just not interested.

Okay, First name, thank you for your time. I’m really surprised. I don’t get many straight out no’s. May I ask if your no is because you’re committed to your current opportunity?

(Part 1) If they say Yes, you say:  First name, our company is a once or twice in a life legacy company. We offer an exclusive Top Tier wholesale Travel and Lifestyle Benefits Membership that is helping thousands of families save money on their travel and more.  In fact, our members have already saved $3 Million in less than three months. Plus, you’ll see how easy it is to use exclusive marketing tools to get paid $30,000 in your first 4 months or less. By you taking just 4 minutes of your time you might just find the company and opportunity that you have wanted to improve your lifestyle. Wait for answer, then:

If they say Yes, you say: Is this your cell phone that I called? Great, the video will be there in a few seconds, and I’ll get back to you in around 12 minutes to see what your thoughts are.

(Part 2) If they say No, you say: First name, thank you for your time. I’m sorry that you can’t take advantage of our incredible opportunity. Before I let you go, would you know 2 or 3 people who might want to take advantage of an opportunity such as this? I’d like to share this information with them. Would you give me their names and how to contact them? I’ll treat them with the same respect I’ve shown to you.

 

When you call the prospect back, you say: Hey, First name, this is __________, getting back with you about the Surge365 video. First name, what did you like best about the video? (Let them answer, and then ask them why they like that the best about the video.) Then say: Okay, First name, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being not interested at all, and 10 being you want to get started right now, would you say you are a 5 or higher? What is your interest level number right now? (Let them answer) Then say: That’s great, First name, thanks, (slight pause) can you hang on for a second?

 

Then find someone from your helper list in the Smartphone App and join them on a 3-way call with your prospect and let them answer the questions and close the prospect for you. See The 3-Way Call to a Leader Script

 

Travel Membership Script (Live Call) (use for people who travel but don’t want a business opportunity)


First name, my name is,                         , and I’m in City/State. First name, the company that I am a member of, offers an exclusive wholesale Travel and Lifestyle Benefits Membership that is helping thousands of families save money on their travel and more. Members have already saved $3 Million in less than three months. If I send you a short 5 minute introduction video would you take a few minutes to watch it? (Then shut up and wait for their answer. It will be YES, MAYBE, they have a QUESTION, or NO.)

 

YES Send them the Surge365 Presentation Membership Only video from your Smartphone App

Then say: First name, I’ll send it to you right away from our Smartphone App. It’s only about 5 minutes long, so I’ll call you back in about 12 minutes. Is this your cell phone that I called? Great, the video will be there in a few seconds, and I’ll get back to you in 12 minutes.

 

You can also send it to their email address if they don’t have a Smartphone or prefer to view the video on their PC.

 

MAYBE If you sense hesitancy

Say: First name, my video is about 5 minutes long, and it will give you a great overview of the incredible savings on travel and benefits that are available to our private members. After viewing this video you will know if you’re interested. First name, is it okay with you if I send you the video?

 

Wait for answer, then

Go to YES

Go to QUESTION

Go to NO

 

QUESTION Usually their question is “what is it”?

Say: First name, this company offers the very best travel and lifestyle benefits over any previous companies of the last 15 or 20 years. My video is less than 5 minutes long.  After viewing  this video you will know if you’re interested!  First name, is it okay with you if I send you the video?

 

Wait for answer, then

Go to YES

Go to MAYBE

Go to NO

 

NO If they say no, it’s usually because they don’t travel, or they are just not interested.

First name, thank you for your time. I’m sorry that you can’t take advantage of our incredible savings and benefits. Before I let you go, would you know 2 or 3 people who would want to take advantage of incredible savings on their travel and more? I’d like to share this information with them so they’d be able to take advantage of these savings. Would you give me their names and how to contact them? I’ll treat them with the same respect I’ve shown to you.

 

When you call the prospect back, you say: Hey, First name, this is __________, getting back with you about the Surge365 video. First name, what did you like best about the video? (Let them answer, and then ask them why they like that the best about the video.) Then say: Okay, First name, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being not interested at all, and 10 being you want to get started right now, would you say you are a 5 or higher? What is your interest level number right now? (Let them answer) Then say: That’s great, First name, thanks, (slight pause) can you hang on for a second?
